I'm probably not the only person in our community who's encountered a discussion about how tall a character stands. Usually it involves something along the lines of, "Look, I don't think you quite understand exactly how freakishly tall ten feet is." So I took it upon myself to collect data about the average heights of various world nationalities (specifically the ones that are reflected in RuneScape) and then calculate from there the expected average height of several in-game races that usually have the aforementioned problem.
