Tuska

Tuska is a boar-like goddess controlled by a strange race of pig-like creatures called Airut. She fought against Saradomin and eventually made him move to another realm due to the disruption she caused. Tuska is described as a mindless beast that has managed to attain a certain tier of godhood.

Brief History

Tuska Destruction

A mural, painted by the Airut, showing Tuska devouring the remains of a world.

Tuska was once a boar-like beast, Through a series of events unknown to any at this time, she came into possession of an Elder Artefact and somehow managed to kill a god, becoming one herself. After this, her followers, the Airut, tamed her and led her on a rampage through multiple planes, looting and stealing in her wake to survive, occasionally hunted by another god known as Skargaroth. Her followers continued leading her through the multiverse, until she was finally blinded by Guthix on the Naragi Homeplane. Since then, her followers have continued riding her through the multiverse, guiding their blind goddess by steering her with a massive pair of reins, and they now plan to attack Gielinor.

Tuska's followers not only worship her, but will also use her for their survival; actually building a city on her back and crafting their own clothes from her fur. After Tuska invaded their homeworld, most of the Airut were impressed by the destruction she spread. They use her as a weapon, and loot and steal in her wake to survive, there seems to be a higher class of mages controlling her, and they are likely the ones who guide their goddess using the reins.

The Religion

Tuska, from what we know of her, doesn't care to be worshipped or praised. However, characters with chaotic goals and chaotic tendencies, if they wish, would have a perfect option in the praise of Tuska. From what we know she has no temples, churches, no dedications to her. This could change in the near future.

Followers and Tuskanist Creatures

  • Airut

Debated lore

  • It is debated whether Tuska can actually be used as a religion in role-play; the only knowledge is given to the Adventurer and the happenings were Ages back when Guthix was mortal and Kaagi's journal. However, her followers are here, meaning she is close behind, along with the priests that control her, though it can debated whether they actually worship her.

Common Mistakes

  • It is unlikely that a member of any other race besides the Airut would worship Tuska, but is possible depending on the circumstances

Trivia

  • Tuska, ableit the name having the word "tusk" in it, is not actually named after the tusks of a pig. Tuska's name is actually a Finnish word meaning "pain" or "agony", and this, combined with the idea of a ravaging tusked beast, was the inspiration for her name.
