Toshi'rox, commonly known as 'Toshiro Umezawa', is an infernal demon from Pandemonium. He is currently the Emissary of chaos, a position of high power amongst the Kinshra, and is roleplayed by Danny on World 42.

Origin - The Infernal Realms[]

This entire history will be told through an in-character perspective. Each entry is IC'ly written down, and is told through this character's eyes after the actual evens that take place. These writings, due to the character's habits of being accurate, are mostly unbiased, but he may lie at certain points.

The following is written on the wall of Toshi'rox's first cave on Pandemonium. Please note that at this point, Toshi'rox does not know the ancient tongue very well, and speaks/writes in a very broken manner.

I am. Is Exist. Me live. Don't know why. Confused. I waken, and I lost. Black rocks all around self. Who made Self? Don't know. Self know language. Self know what self need do to live. Self keep walking. Self Alone, and scared.

Self try looking for self maker. Self maker not around. Self find small red creature that have white bone face. Self ask where maker is. Creature get scared, and attack self. Self break creature.

Self find smallest red creature. Red creature does not look at self like large small red creature do. Red creature say not many black creature like self live around here. Red call self 'Infernal'. Small red name 'Lackifur'. Lack and self are friends. Lack make deal with Self. Self save Lack, and lack helps Self. Self like Lack.

Lackifur's gift - The Infernal Realms[]

The following is written on the wall of Toshi'rox's first cave on Pandemonium. This entry happens years later.

It has been some time since I have written here. When I last wrote, I met an Imp named Lackifur. He is a small demon of the race Avernic. He's educated me on a few things. One, he's taught me language. Looking back at my previous notes, I cringe with shame. How could I have been so poor at writing? Since you could see this entry, I'm sure you could see the text besides it that looks like a Hellhound scratched at it. The second thing he's been teaching me about is the Order of the infernal realm.

From what I've been told, I'm an Infernal Demon. That's why I'm larger than most other demons I come across. Others of my kin have trapped the Avernic- Lackifur's race - and have made them slaves. I asked

Pandemonium

Toshi'rox's Cave

Lackifur about my origins, and the Imp says that I'm either a Elder creation (which is unlikely due to my age), or I was made by other Infernal demons.

As time goes by, small demons often come by to scout my cave out. I've been educated about them. They're Byzroth demons, Avernic. It's the same kind of demon I first met many cycles ago. Though they pose no threat to myself, I kill them for Lackifur's sake. They'd kill him for sure. He's my only friend.

I do not know how to fight, Lackifur isn't talented in that field. I am, however, the size of most Tustsaroths (the large demons I avoid), and this gives me the ability to easily break the bones of my enemies. The Byzroths swarmed me - there was four of them - and their hands ignited. Lackifur taught me of this power: magic. He tells me that i'd probably be very good at it, if I had a good teacher. I requested that he taught me, but the only magic he knows is short distance teleportation. He wouldn't teach that to me, because it was something only his race could do.

They threw their fire at me. It hurt, more than it should of. I'm naturally resistant to heat, and so are most demons, so that shouldn't have hurt. But it did, and if I weren't black, my torso would be now. This, however, only succeeded in making me Angrier. I rushed to the first one. He was bold, and stood his ground. I respected that. he knew he couldn't outrun me, so he put his arms over his face. Because he was one whom I could respect, I decided to end him quickly. My tail, which has a bone ball at the end [like an Ankylosaurus], was swung towards the unprotected side of his face. his skull shattered at the force of the blow. He fell back, and slightly spazzed a bit, before exploding. I turned to the other three. One was fleeing. I respected him the least, so I surged towards him. He turned, his expression shocked to see that I moved so quickly. He was even more shocked to see that my claws were in his neck. There were two. They were smart, and came at me together. They abandoned their magic, seeing it's results, and outstretched their claws. My mistake was turning to one when they both flanked me in opposite sides. I back handed one, and it flew into a mountain side 40 hooves away. The other took the moment to grab onto my neck, latching onto my backside. It was clawing at the side of my neck, clearly trying to get at my jugular. Lackifur tells me that that's a vein that could be quite fatal if ripped. He knows, that where he aims when he needs to kill. It was quite obvious, though, that my skin was tougher than his claws were sharp.

What occurred next is what surprised me. My black wings unfurled, and I took flight upwards. I tried shaking the annoying thing off, and it held on with all of it's might. It saw that it's attempts were useless, however, and started using it's magic against my wings. the flames burned me, and I knew for sure that if I didn't stop him, we'd both crash down. Rage entered my body as the pain did, and I felt something, deep inside of my chest. Instinctively, I grabbed the Beast off of my back, and held it out in front of me. I don't know why, but I grasped a hold of that feeling within, and I put my other hand over the face of that Byzroth. The Feeling surged into my arms, and Blue energy started to Erupt from my palm right against it's face. I let go of the demon, and I

Toshi'rox, realising his true power

saw that it's bone mask was completely scorched. it fell, right beside the other. I could tell that that lesser demon was as smart as a hell rat, because it stood right beside the demon that soon exploded. The other Byzroth ended up killing it's self in that blast.

Lackifur was surprised, looking at my smoking fist. apparently,  there was magic around my 'aura'. I told him what happened, and he was quite shocked. He told me that I managed to use magic on my own. I liked it. it felt empowering.

Lackifur then told me that his faith in my protection has doubled, if not more. Lackifur told me, however, that Violence wont get me far. No, he said that there were creatures far larger than myself on Pandemonium. Apparently, I need an edge over my foes. something to give me an advantage. Lackifur explained how the only reason why he was still alive was because he was crafty, and he knew his way around words. He offered to teach me the ways of the imp, and I accepted. He was also tired of calling me black, too, so we brainstormed on giving me a name. After a while, Lackifur came up with something that matched an infernal demon, and sounded intimidating: Toshi'rox. I will be forever greatful for this gift, and will cherish it forever.

The Life Force Thief - The Infernal Realms[]

The following is written on the wall of Toshi'rox's first cave on Pandemonium. This entry was written a few months later

I've grown stronger. I'm able to call upon these magics at will, and I could use them to scorch my foes. I've been using my powers less, however. Not only is that a result of Lackifur's teachings of manipulation, but I'm also feeling weaker. Ever since i've learned to use my magical core, it's been draining....and not re-filling. I'm going to die. I know it. But I can't Abandon Lackifur. He's been so kind to me.

Lackifur and I.....we depend on each other. He's using me, I know that for sure. But i'd be lying if I said that I wasn't using his knowledge. I like this relationship, it works perfectly, and I feel that Lackifur likes it too.

I decided to talke to Lackifur. It was only fair that we'd find him a new home before my reserve crumbled to nothing. He told me that that was an awful idea, and that the solution was simple. Avernic demons have a core of power within them, and all I had to do was take it somehow. I killed many of Lackifur's kin, so stealing their life force wasn't a big deal for myself.

It started to go downhill. As we spoke, the sound of flapping filled the backround. I went outside to check what it was, and a single Alyaroth. They're like a smaller version of myself, or a larger, winged virsions of Byzroth demons. This Avernic, hunched over, slowly Approched me. It spoke to me, told me how I was nothing compared to the great Kal'ger. I didn't know who he spoke of, but apparently, those Byzroth Scouts were his doing. He taunted me, saying how all infernal demons need a title. He asked me for my name, and laughed as he called me 'Toshi'rox, the Lost'. Much anger filled me, and I went to bash the demon's face in with my fist. He easily grabbed my hand. he was shocked that he was sent backwards a few hooves [ note how he uses his hooves as a unit of measurement], but stopped my attack none the less. I brought my other hand in for a low stumach punch, which was covered in blue mystic energies. He twisted my grasped arm, and turned it. Somehow, he hand me in a grapple from behind.

All seemed lost, but then I realised: I have a tail. I willed it to bash the demon, and due to positioning, it crushed it's wing. He didn't seem pleased, and withdrawed, in pain. He was furious at this point, and yelled out gibberish about how he was going to break free of his slavery. I couldn't care less.

I pounced on him, and pinned him down. my knees were crushing his thighs, and my left hand was holding his wrist. my right, however, was holding  his elbow area, giving him wiggle room. I thought I had him, but then lackifur came outside of the cave. The Alyaroth, in a final attempt, was going to die with vengance. He aimed his palm at Lackifur, and it Ignited. This was then end. Goodbye, my friend...

No, I could not accept this. I was not done with the imp, he would not be decimated just get. That feeling I felt months ago. It crept from my chest, but not to my hands. If it did so, it'd only burn the demon's wrist. This sensation went up my rib cage, and I let out a roar worthy of a Tsutsaroth. Noise wasn't the only thing that came out, however. From my maw, blue energies errupted. I completely burnt of the demons face.

I may have saved Lackifur, who stood in silent awe, but now I had to save myself. The Alyaroth's skins was cracking, and energy was leaking out. it was going to blow up. I could tell that by the time I tried getting up, I'd be roasted alive. No, I had to do something. Subconsciously, I drove my claws into the greater demon's chest, and I felt my core filling up. I haven't felt this powerful, this alive since my origin. The glow of the demon's cracks dimmed, and the glow in my veins increased. I managed to take the Avernic's core.

From that point onwards, I've be 'eating' the soul of my fallen foes. Lackifur and I, however, are curious to know about this 'Kal'ger'. We'll surely start investigating this one.

Goodbye, Friend (Joing the Kal'gerion Army) - The Infernal Realms[]

The following is written on the wall of Toshi'rox's second cave on Pandemonium. This entry was written a few months later

Lackifur and I looked into the Kal'gerion army like I said we would. It's a militant force, led by multiple Infernal demons. It's army consisted, of course, of avernic demons. The four generals were gods among us, seemingly. the first one willed rifts to open almost instantly, allowing toxic gasses and magma to flow out onto his enemies. The second one wielded two bone clubs, and bashed them against his foes. even when they missed, it caused portals to sprout, similar to his comrade. The third demon used the opposite type of magic of the avernics. instead of generating heat, this one froze his enemies solid. He was a force of nature, at best. He conjured earthquakes, decimated armies with pure energy, and ripped Tsutsaroths' heads off with a swipe of his claws. We've yet to see the leader of this army, but if he could keep all four of these monsters at bay......He might actually be a god.

So Lackifur and I decided to go to the army, to join their ranks. We decided that it'd be best to be on their side rather than against them. We travelled for many days, due to the Kal'gerions being many, many hooves away from us. For a majority of the trip, Lackifur sat on my back, gripped onto one of my dorsal spikes, as I flew. When I got tired, he sat on my shoulder as I walked.

How could I have let this happen? We were greeted by a squad of Byzroth demons and a single infernal demon. He was large, taller than myself by five hooves or so. He was red, and his claws extended to the floor. On his head were three horns. one was large, in the dead centre of his forehead. The other two were much smaller, and were on either side of his centre horn.

I told him that I wanted to speak to his leader, and that I had the intentions of joining their corps. The other demon just laughed, and said that he'd offer my remains to his lord (kal'ger, assumably). Lackifur then piped up, which I wish he didn't, and said that he'd teleport inside of the demon's skull, and stab at his brain. Before I could do anything, the long clawed demon reached out, and his claws (which were already half his size) extended even more. It shot right pass me, above my shoulder. when I looked up, Lackifur was a pile of ashes.
