At first glance, the nervous, blue clad woman before you seemed naive and very jittery. Her bronze skin reflects against the floating, amethyst light source as she threads runic energy into a ruby encrusted, mithril blade before she began to gild sigils along the blade. Honey eyes, of hers, look up to meet yours with an innocent and happy smile, her kharidian, catty facial features laid bare to the beholder. Handing the blade to you, she refuses payment, explaining that true art has no price and that the meaning of it is what matters most.

Beginnings

Born to a now widowed glassmaker and a heretic in the depths of Al Kharid, Leila always felt as if something important was missing in her life As her father attempted to ingrain the art of enchanting in her at an early age with old, beautiful charmed toys. Soon after the age of three, the heretic mother started to wither away. The heretic mother's last gift, to her daughter, before she slept her last sleep in a summer bed was a dragonstone as big as a household tree vase, sigiled with gold and enchanted with something strong. Leilas father soon turned very bitter and very aggressive to Leila, beating her if she strayed from learning to enchant the way that the Carcassan household did.

At the age of eleven, the young girl started to try to pick apart her mother's enchantments on the dragonstone soon to be met with the forced hand of her father. In a fit of anger at the sight of what she was doing, her father air blasted her against the wall, causing her to break a great many bones. Thankfully, another family member was nearby, overhearing the harmful magic. At the sight of Leilas unconscious, broken body, the Glassmakers sister rushed over, pulling out a diamond ankh, holding it over Leila, weaving healing enchantments into her with effort, in absolute shock. When Leila next woke up, she found herself in a full body cast, horrified. She was now scared of her father, her mother's dragonstone was gone.

More minor beatings occurred up until the age of fifteen, where everything that her father had disciplined her for accumulated. Travelling to Yanille, the Glassmaker father expected to put Leila into the Magic guild. Once there, A guild administrator humored the idea of letting someone so young take an evaluation, in which Leila had failed miserably. Her father, in all his cruelty, without teaching Leila a single life skill cast her out of the family home there in Yanille, telling her that she is not welcome home until she joins the magic guild. The father cast upon her a binding spell before making his way out. Staying homeless, she had to beg for money and food.

After her sixteenth birthday not a month later, luck would have it that a high ranking old wizard of the guild found the young girl sleeping against the guild tower. He went to wake her as his long, fire orange beard dragged the ground, his emerald eyes gazing at her as he started to speak with her. She told him what had happened, the old wizard sympathizing as he went to bring her into the guild, soon to be confronted by the now angry administrator. The wizard explained to the administrator the girls story to the now less furious administrator. Offering, the administrator did, for her to express what she personally knows about magic, telling her that perhaps the old fire bearded wizard could take in an intern. She told them about her family and their specialization in enchanted goods, the three agreeing to let Leila intern at the guild as long as she independently strives to follow her own path in the art of magic.

A mere month after that, her aunt came to find her, finding her at the guild hall. The Glassmakers' sister offered to Leila the heretic mother's dragonstone. Apologizing, the Glassmakers sister did, for what Leilas father has done, the two embraced in mourning over the violent ties between Leila and her father. After the Glassmakers sister left, emotional pain began to ease off of Leila. Soon, the Old fire bearded wizard asked of Leila to begin interviewing famous wizards on behalf of the guild not for anything other than exposing her to people that she should perhaps look up to.

She interviewed the most influential at the time; Magus Concendo, Tesla Aren, and Olivier Hellbrass however, the last interview she did was the most special. Merrik Le'gaunt, a man of prestige, was interviewed last, offering the girl before him an apprenticeship if she joined the Wizards Tower. The girl stared, shocked, but then accepted with haste as soon as the Le'gaunt before her started to get up from his chair. She remained ever grateful for it was he who lead Leila to her new family.

Magus Concendo and the Timey Wymy go back in time Obelisk

Opening her newspaper on a sunny tower morning, Leila spat out her morning tea reading that her now good friend Magus Concendo had up and vanished in Misthalin. Once she could, the girl got in touch with Theo Concendo and Rosaline Haines in order to question the current curator of the Archaeology guild, Valeah Spellbright. Entering the guild facility, the group was lead to the curator in her office upstairs. The four met, establishing their want and concern for the gnome that they called friend. They all dispersed, agreeing to meet once Theo found some sort of trail to the Magus.

A month after the initial meeting, Theo gathered Leila and Valeah, a White Knight replacing Rosaline for an unknown reason to Leila. Theo teleported the group off, explaining that Magus has been tracked to the Stormguard Citadel so very far above the cloudlines. The group walked together through the large sky Island until they found a distinct room with a gateway. Pondering, the group began to ponder until Leila began to decipher the enchantments locking the gateway. Leila turns to Theo, asking for Magus ring. As she put the ring against the gateway, she was warped into a pocket dimension along with a very vacant, aged rune guardian. The group fixed the rune guardian as it displayed that Magus had went back in time, back into the third age. After returning with the information they accessed from the Rune Guardian, the group had a new sense of what they were dealing with now knowing that Magus had preserved himself in some manner.

Two months after the Stormguard search; Leila, Rosaline Haines, and Theo met in Magus tower office, talking about where they think he may just be. Rosaline suggested that he would be in his grave in Lumbridge, jokingly. However humorous that Rosaline decided to be, Leila would push to uncover the grave just in case. Theo agreed with Leila, the group heading to the Lumbridge graveyard to dig up the old gnomes bodiless grave. Telegrabbing at first sight in the hole they dug, a golden, small casket made into her hand. As she held the strange casket, it began to slowly turn her arm into gold, promptly causing her to drop the casket. Theo ran over putting Magus old ring to the casket, the casket turning into wood as Leilas hands turn back to normal. Before the group searched the casket, they were approached by a very old looking imp. The imp demanded the Magus' ring for information on Magus and so the group obliged. With interest, the imp divulged the whereabouts of Magus, saying that he is indeed alive somewhere in the deep, unexplored west.

within the week, A new team was formed to first search in the lost grove; a place of uncontrolled, beautiful wildlife. Morgan Concendo, Leila, Merrik Le'gaunt, and Gobles began their search in the deep west of the grove island. Into the cliff edge they searched, strange ruins found. Out of her vision, Morgan caught a sigil of the Concendo, heading to touch it, the group teleporting away. Into a statue filled cavern the group went, before beholding a scarred, slightly older Magus in full stone. After a full day of studying, the group decided to cast the rock animation spell upon the Magus statue. One finger at a time, the stone dust began to roll off Magus' fingers, old gnome falling over briefly as Leila went to go catch him. Along with Morgan, the three were teleported to the Concendo home where they decided to let Magus rest.

The Hunt for Miguel Bordeleaux

After making herself comfortable in the tower three years later, the infamous and prestigious Magus Concendo made up to her, asking her questions about her mother with a very heavy interest. Magus hinted at something very special about Leilas mom, something she began to question herself. After making a days work of enchanted gems, she made to Al Kharid, weary of the horrid memories held in her mind of her abusive father. Entering her aunts artificiery, the Glassmakers sister greeted her warmly, taking herself from behind her forge immediately to embrace Leila before the two began to talk about Leilas mother. The Glassmakers sister said to Leila that her mothers maiden name was indeed Bordeleaux, and that such a name was at one time considered a household name among enchanters. This Bordeleaux revelation mean't nothing to to Leila at first, however that would very soon change as she told Master Le'gaunt.

A hunt for the old Blue Order Headmaster Miguel Bordeleaux sprung up as the memory of him resurfaced in Magus, Magus telling Merrik of the last place that Miguel was heard being, Crandor.

Before heading to Crandor however, Leila began trying yet again to decipher her mother's large dragonstone. A mysterious and quite spooky individual made in dressed in all black. The woman inquisited Leila on what she was doing, Leila replying that she was trying to break the enchantment on the dragonstone to learn what it is. nodding, the black dressed woman took out a very interesting monocle with multiple swatch lenses, flipping through them as she saw a runic pattern of cosmic and soul energies. The black dressed woman took out a soul rune, beginning to cast as the energy from the dragonstone whipped out, trying to absorb it. In shock, the two looked to each other and decided to just feed the object the runes inscribed. Soon, the dragonstone began to crack, turning to dust as it left behind a slightly smaller, round aquamarine sigiled with copper. Amused, the two exchanged names, the woman in black announcing herself as Val Dae, Merrik Le'gaunts wife.

While on a long boat ride to Crandor with; a crew of idiot sailors, Val, and Merrik, Leila pondered to herself. She began to daydream about who this Bordeleaux cousin she has is, and if he was as cruel as her father or as sweet as her aunt. During her daydreaming, the ship began to scuttle against sharp rocks, turning over slowly. Quite by luck, none of the row boats were in use. Val and Merrik grabbed Leila, climbing into a damaged row boat, cutting the holding ropes as they plunge into the waters. It took quite a bit of work for the group to land onto the misty shores of Crandor. On the shore, the group found what seemed to be a skeleton with a single misty, blue glowing eye and a parchment. The parchment explained that the bodies name is Sampson and that the key is nearby and hidden. To what this key is or what it refers to is a mystery.

Soon along the lines of the spiraling summit, a massive wall of vines stuck out at the three. The wall spoke in this deep female karamjan accent saying that it required a new host. A hand jutted out made of vines and thorns, awaiting whomever to grasp it. Val took the initiative, shaking hands with the thorny hand as the vines began to recede, showing a near mummified body and a broodoo mask. Val picked the mask up before questioning it, the mask responding before it soon made to rest. From the mask, the group concurred that the body that the glowing eyed skeleton and the mummy were of two Spellbrights searching for something. Val put the mask into Leilas backpack.

Further into the mainland of Crandor, the group found a jeweled, golden, implement somehow placed in a pillar. After about an hour of pondering it, Leila took to it, forcefully prying it out of the pillar. Unbeknownst to Leila, the implement began to eat at her rune reserves, pulling her magical to a rock-face. One against the rock-face, the implement shoved itself into the condensed earth, the stone opening up into a large cave with the Bordeleaux symbol above it. Making into the large cave, the group could not prepare themselves for the sight they next saw.

Bodies upon bodies were curled up next to each other against the lantern light, the abject horror across the groups face as their feet trod across broken wand and stave. Unknown to the group, the ceiling was crawling with the faces of the long dead, ethereal and haunting. Into the darkness, a silhouette of metal stood still. Horrified, the group approached the suit of armor as the suit began to speak telling the group not to go further. Merrik asked it where Miguel was and the suit answered "Edgeville with the Lemieux.". The group left.

Reaching Edgeville after a weeks rest, Leila opened a missing persons investigation in the search for Miguel Bordeleaux and the Lemieux within Edgeville. In the legal records, an Ezekial Lemieux was mentioned being relocated to an Eastern island colony named Arilia and that there was a scheduled ship that allowed free passage to wizards tower apprentices and employees. Leila soon made for Sarim, tagging along in the scheduled ship to Arilia.

After a long two week voyage, the guards upon the tropical Arilia immediately pointed her to Ezekial Lemieuxs office without questioning her as Ezekial was indeed the person heading the island. After Leila arrived in Ezekials office, the head of the colony started questioning her. Leila spoke, wishing to meet the Miguel Bordeleaux. Upon the mention of Miguel, Ezekial grew hesitant and wary.

Magical Ability

Carcassan Thread Magic - A very old form of cosmic based magic that was introduced publicly in an Uzerian College early in the cities development. This magic is not specifically enchanting, however, that is what is it used for.

An enchanter with this method melds cosmic, runic energy into a thread, adding whatever runic they please in sequence to make the thread longer, mentally programming an enchanted effect. A enchantments make-up done this way is alot harder to pick apart and is known as a 'Weave'.

Leila prefers to use this for enchanting purposes.

Bordeleaux Circle Magic - The secret and sacred magics of the Bordeleaux to maximize the efficiency of casting with runes at the cost of time to set up a circle. She is currently a novice, fascinated with this magic. She is currently being taught by Merrik Le'gaunt.

Warding - Defensive shielding magic.

Divine Energy Casting - Created by Octavian Dae, but taught to her by Merrik Le'gaunt, Leila has learned to transmute divine energy into runic for casting purposes.

Runecrafting - She strives to at least learn up to cosmic runecrafting. Currently is at body rune level.

Summoning - Under Memphis Vaeyls teaching, she has acquired a unique liking for summoning as the way that it was described to her made it sound as if it were comparable to enchanting. She currently summons thorny snails.

Culinaromancy - Learned from Althea. She has learned the basics of using the anima in food to cast magic. This method is currently being used instead of runic energy for cost efficiency.
