If ya'd be so kind as to listen first to a tale o'swashbucklin' enterprise an' adventurous Endeavors'; tales o'mockery'to tha' whimble-fim thread-thin whims'o tha'very slices o'slice pin-picked thin edge between life an'death an' worse an- (cough)-
tha likes'cha never've seen Before'! An'mebbe ain'never'ear again; leas' not presumably' fer a few days after unless'yer got amnesia or'somethin but cha' remember jes'ow bleedin Fantas-bloody-lutin' tastical was this whale'offa'tale.'
((Before we begin, i am actually an old hand at rp, not so old as to be considered a veteran, but i've seen my fair shares of adventures and good memories. Unfortunately due to some difficulties, i've been unable to resume my membership and otherless, play the game itself. I am also fairly new to this wiki business, so i sincerely apologize and hope you can forgive me should i prove inept, Should you wish to skip straight to my humble request, mind the ~))
Me Story begins as most woul' me auld chums, sit a moment an' let a bard string yeh' a tale.
On a rainy d- nay' Night! On tha' far'orf isles'o' tha'east'o tha'armless Aye'ls an'mebbe a few scores give'or take north. Tha' thunders broke sharp tha'day but nay'arder than' the whip of the salty sprays tha' batter'blitzed tha' crew tucked down on top'deck. Nay'man was far from tha'feelin o'death like assif'e was frisked by tha'devil'imself, but nay such obstacle nor'colorful euphemism did'serve much save to keep tha' crew pourin' their hearts out on those oars, like one man an' no man less did they work the ship as she battled the treacherous blue.
A rogue' crashed upon tha' starboard end' sendin' it's foamy head atop like a white sweep, showerin'those below and spillin' tha rest off their feet faster'than' an'oiled slick. Tha'ol blue witch'erself gazed upon 'er wanderin' sea'farer, raging a fury to match the steepest bloodied frenzy o'god an'man alike on the poor devils aboard. A few good'months bide to the mast had steeled each an'every soul but nay one' who nay did not fain to seek respite from this madness aboard'er an'no more than'the ship'erself. Her sterns which rattled and groaned, cracking apart as the waves spearheaded'er timbers while exhausted men down under patched up their last defence keepin'em from embracin' tha fathoms.
Stand fast an' sing iffya' see'er quo'he, Sing sweetly me brothers. Lent naught will to wha'ever fear tha' weighs yer'chest lest it' serves'cha anchor to the deeps, quo' he after. He stood atta' heigh' o a six' un' two feet, hidden underneath tha' folds'o his coat and a slight hunch.
His face was chiseled an' grim, with' a thick built jaw' and a slightly crooked nose . His salt'an pepper hair trailed about to race the zephyr plastering to his face with it's wet threads, a slight thinning pate revealed on his forehead as the tip ended in' a widow's peak. His beard unfurled at a' three-fists'worth o' length' sportin' curious' multi-colored braids tha' tethered wi' tha rest at the bottom-most portion, weighed down by past' wet hazards tha' greeted every sailor.
'is complexion bore more o' testimonies to adversities than' beauty, where he outgrew blemishes instead were scars like checkboards tha'coul' rival tha' tropies o' war. But what was one main feature not to be missed was his one good eye on his right which shone wi' the thunderin' chants o' the heavens an' sported a color tha' mimicked the raging green-blue torpor all around them beneath heavy eye-lids knitted with weary lines, his other eye hidden under an eyepatch.
Be me eyes' he roared to the heavens, Sing to me o'our quarry' he spoke; and none' too soon did' tha' crows'nest did answer;
" I spy them oh capn'", the man replied' Gods above, Six Miles 'so! We have' tread onto tha'end o'tha world an'we shall learn so'why it was called thus'.
Hold Fast An'Hold your water' the capn' cheered on his men, their faces frozen with effort, " Stand ready fer' clatter, Stand'by for Ruin, Ready the thunders, Railly the drums" and no sooner did he gave the order did the moon, once was bright; dimmed as they fast approached their goal. A dark cloud that swallowed their sight and stole all eyes on deck. The brine of the salt air soon soured away to the stench o'death an' revulsion, i swear yeh' even on' an empty stomach' it'd be enough to make'cha retch. Tha' fiends took to the skies as' easily as a fleet o' gulls, spiralin'cross the torrent wi' the swiftest o' ease tha' bade the swiftest sea'runner to shame.
We watched'em, Aye Every'man frozen in place as every eye stared at the sky and watched as a thousand eyes slowly began to stare back. And withou' warnin'.
They were upon us'.
Who were they? Oh i'm jes' gettin'to tha' inna moment', inna' bit inna bit
thing is eh, Me cups' a wee bit empty now' care to make a lil' donation?
I am planning to try and establish contact with my old friends from my time in the land of Gielinor through this wiki should they by any chance have established a root here. But i pray, Dear reader that does not faze you in any manner, on the contrary, while i am here, it is always wonderful to have more friends, I say. Let us discuss items of without consequence and whimsy, in these hard troubled times.
An'for tha' rest ya know who ye are' ye lovable scamps
