So, with the new quest that has arisen; Fate of the Gods, I have been left with a number of serious questions that I have no reasonable conclusion for.
Could they be killed?
By this, I mean... Can the Elder Gods, pretty much the founders of the universe and beings of unrivaled power, could they die? As we've seen with Mah there is proof that they can be greatly weakened to the point where they just stay in a comatose sleep. She's weak and seeking out a source of Anima that would nourish her.
I had long thought that such a being was 100% immortal; Gods are powerful in their own right but Elder Gods I thought would be just downright indestructible. But with the amount of lore that was thrown in my face I've been left questioning one of my simple and reasonable assumptions. It is starting to seem that there is no "True Godhood" in RSRP. Any and all clarifications would help.
And one final thing. The Adventurer we all know and love for being the luckiest idiot on the face of the planet, seems to have a very substantial "key role" in this. Yes, World Guardian and all that unaffected by Godly mind control blah blah blah. We all know that some humans are capable of great things but do any of us think that jagex might be leading us to a finale in which the Adventurer faces off with one of the Elder Gods? Of course you have to take into consideration the size and power of the Elder Gods (which I'm assuming have easily killed off gods before, Not to mention the entire universe) vs. a really strong HUMAN MORTAL. I imagine it playing out something like this to the picture I will post below...
Let me know your thoughts.
