How do certain races "do it"? Is there an answer we can agree on, all of us?
-Mahjarrat (Might be just like humans)
-That's all I can think of for now.
When it comes to all these races, I see them all reproducing in similar manners.
Demons... eeehhhhh. Demons are either created or procreated, IMO.
Only Elder Demons and above are, in my view, true demons. Like Vampyres, Lessers/Greaters are actually just made from other races, using a demonic ritual of transformation. That's just my PERSONAL view, though.
When it comes to procreating Demon Babies, though... I think it's very much possible for a mommy demon and a daddy demon to 'get it on' in a manner of speaking... But I think that procreated Demons are left to fend for themselves, most times. Demons are Immortal, they would probably see their children as 'competition', and if they weren't outright created but procreated... I'd say that the Demonic Parent would care little for their child, and hold utter indifference until the Child began to interfere with the Demon's ongoings and whatnot.
In another sense, I see their whole 'do it' kinda thing much like the Klinon-like stuff. Rough night... Literally. And... Jim. Prepare to die.
-Charges up his phaser cannons, and blasts jim into the afterlife. If that doesn't kill good ol' Jim, he'd resort to using graviton interference to rupture a part of space and form a black hole which would then nom up Jim and everything around him.-
Oh, and unlike other people worth their salt in world 42...
I think all races that can reproduce can crossbreed, though it's not so much the question of 'if', rather 'why'. Do you really see a Mahjarrat getting it on with an Icyene?
Well.... Maybe one of them didn't exactly have a choice. I don't know. It's roleplay, do what you want. Just try and make it as legitimate as possible.
Jagex has confirmed that crossbreeding between pretty much anything is possible, and that the offspring will be the same race as the mother.
Always knew lucien was a crossdresser
I was waiting for someone to bring that up, and that was the best possible way you could've done it.
Moia has/had a piece of dialogue either in one of the sagas or at the BoL implying that her conception wasn't typical. Lucien apparently used some unknown method to create something in-between a human and a mahjarrat, and she was the result. Lucien and Zemouregal considered it a failure, Bilrach considered it a success, and Zamorak didn't give a damn but "expected" her to reach her full potential, which, considering she has reached the upper ranks of his followers and saved his life, she is doing.
Elder demons I think of as being 'created' long ago by some powerful being, maybe one of the other two Elder Gods of which we know nothing.
Also, TzHaar? We know they have eggs, which must be kept warm or else they would die, but we seem to have seen no female TzHaar. My main theory is that upon death, their spirit might go to an empty egg, making it ready to hatch. However, the TzHaar-Mej to whom you must speak to start one of the quests refers to the egg as 'my egg (is dying)'
In full seriousness, this makes it that much easier to understand. It's just like humans, but more violent and on a larger scale.
What do you think?
